Max Gouveia, President EXPERIENCE Max Gouveia was Vice President of Operations at Kay Construction in Newton, MA. He was responsible for Kay’s day-to-day construction performance. He oversaw every aspect of project management, including quality control, project schedules, administration and cost controls, to ensure success for every client on every project.. Max joined Kay in 1987 as a Project Manager. His many responsibilities through the years included project scheduling; coordination of the concrete and carpentry field forces; subcontractor administration and management, including contracts, shop drawing review and control, material purchasing, cost control and financial management reports, billings and payment approvals. Max also served as Owner and Architect/Engineer liaison for billings, schedules, value engineering, and quality and cost controls. This hands-on experience with every aspect of operations allowed Max to help clients achieve their most challenging project goals.
